Hi, I’m Yenly!

I’m the founder of Curious & Determined, a movement and wellness community created to help women feel stronger, more confident, and genuinely connected.

Through yoga, Pilates, strength training, mindfulness, community events, and women’s retreats, I create welcoming experiences where people can move, grow, and come exactly as they are.

My work is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, supported, and empowered.

My Story

I believe that every person deserves to feel seen, supported, empowered, and welcomed exactly as they are.

My journey began as a Cambodian-Vietnamese child who experienced life in refugee camps. The courage and resilience of my mother—who survived the Cambodian genocide—helped shape the woman I am today. Her story taught me the importance of perseverance, compassion, community, and never giving up, even when the path ahead feels uncertain.

My passion for serving others has taken me around the world. As a Peace Corps Volunteer in Costa Rica, I worked in youth and community development, creating health and wellness programs for women and girls and establishing the first boys’ and girls’ soccer league in my region. I later continued my international service with the United Nations Refugee Agency in Geneva. Through these experiences, I saw how movement, connection, and encouragement can help people recognize their own strength.

In 2021, I founded Curious & Determined to create the kind of supportive spaces I believe everyone deserves. Through yoga, Pilates, strength training, mindfulness, wellness retreats, community events, and personal coaching, I bring people together to move, grow, heal, and build meaningful connections.

As a mother, wellness instructor, community leader, and lifelong learner, I understand that strength looks different for everyone. You do not need to be the most flexible, the most experienced, or have everything figured out to begin. You simply need a safe place where you can arrive as you are.

Curious & Determined is more than a wellness business—it is a community rooted in compassion, inclusion, courage, and belonging. My hope is that every person who enters one of my classes, programs, or retreats leaves feeling stronger, more confident, and deeply reminded that they matter.
